i MAY or MAY NOT have... painted my roof matte black today

canned it, wasn't sure if i was going to like it so i didn't go nuts. i've never done a matte from a gun, not sure if theres a special process or special gun i need

if all is well and i like it i'll do another few coats (since its the roof) so it doesn't chip away from debris
or if i don't like it, i'll use a gun and make it gloss black

That's pretty darn nice for rattle can!

Idk if its just me but the spoiler looks like a turned lip spoiler from the trunk :P

lol, we tried it on Bimmerchop's S4 trunk and roof line and it didn't fit on either, and its way to short for my A6 trunk, its definitely an A6 roof spoiler... but I had my doubts when i first got it as to what it exactly was

I had my roof, trunk and hood in matte vinyl, now only the roof remains.

looks great with the paint!

unless those are vinyl squeegees

no no, its paint, i used about 4 and a half cans total, those pink bondo things i used to smooth out the tape around the edges

and yes, shes white, i've got tons of random pics in my photo gallery (in my signature) from the progress of my car

i'll take some pics tomorrow in the light of the whole car, i was a little busy today, it'll be good since i have no pics of my car with the new wheels on either

thanks for the hookup on the carbon wrap! can't wait to give this a shot, i'll post pics of that once thats done too. I want the carbon wrap to come out right so its going to take me some time

and everything is the same color black, the roof, roof wing, and the antenna

thanks man, Bimmerchop really helped, the side he did came out better then mine, i had to add another coat onto the part I did to make it match his

my next project will be refinishing some avus S4's and wrapping my interior in some carbon wrap
(unless someone has stock silver colored 18" S4's and want to trade for black ones? save me the time in refinishing mine)

1991 Mustang GT - picked up a used 302 block from a wrecked 1993 Cobra and built it from there

and yeah definitly hit me up if your coming my way this weekend, even if your stayin up there, ill make the drive, let me know

oh and i found this pic with the new wheel... ill still take new ones tomorrow with the black roof but here an updated picture
