    finally installed some appearance stuff...

well this weekend my car sat in the garage looking like this.

anyways. i installed the eurogear s4 door blades, rear trunk lid ((since the piece of shite i bought off eBay looked good from far away but utter shit up close)), and engine cover. then went in the new head lights. fitment for the eurogear stuff was pretty good. door blade screws didn't go back in too well, but nothing a electric screw driver wont fix.

i the attempted to vinyl wrap my roof in the hi gloss black. yeah... didn't work out too well. haha. so i got inspired by something i saw on here and decided to do my front grille cover.

five attempts later and i got that. looks REALLY sharp on the car.

im excited about it all. i get alot of compliments about it at the restaurant. more than my camaro. oh well. let me know what you think.

    The headlights have to go.

How about some more pictures of the 1 gen Camaro in the background of the first picture.

Speaking of hate, that's funny what you mentioned about the eurogear door blades. I tried putting those on my S4, and same deal. When I called them they pretty much told me to piss off and they are "high quality", and of course no refunds! I'm done with appearance mods.

Overall guys I gained about 450 horse alone just on the carbon fiber. Haha. Oh well, i guess I'm a boy racer now. I've just always liked the carbon/ black, grey, or white theme. Headlights im also a little up in the air about. Just from going to Hids with my last car to halogens sucked. Oh well. I'll see how I feel in a month or so. Plus I'm kinds bored of seeing the same three pictures of everyones car with either rs4 stuff, dtm stuff, or s-line stuff. We'll see what happens. Once I have it dropped and have some nice wheels on it im sure it'll look better.

I'll post pictures of my camaro and grand national tomorrow.

Dude u had a R? What color? Sometimes I miss mine a lot, minus the school bus sized turning radius... I had passion red with attacama. Full evolve exhaust, phuz fmic, and the ram air mod to the air box. God now I miss those brembos...

Not that there is necessarily anything "wrong" with the mods you've done, but I (personally) think maybe you went backwards in the modding game.

Now I know you mentioned above that you are getting suspension/wheels. I really hope it is some quality stuff to pull off what you have going on there now... please give us some more info on what you got/are getting.

But- if they are not yet on their way... I would sell ALL of the CF, as well as the headlights, get a nice set of coilovers, and even after that you'd have a nice chunk of change saved towards a nice, CLASSY set of wheels. Don't cheap out on the car.. buy quality the first time and don't rush mods. Do your homework... find something you like and save for it... especially when it comes to wheels and suspension.

Anyways, I'll be waiting to hear what you have in store for wheels and suspension.. then we'll go from there

If there were two guys named Hambone and Flippy, which one would you think liked dolphins more? I bet you'd say Flippy, wouldn't you?

But you would be wrong. It's Hambone.

i dont mean to hate..i cant speak for everyone but i think the general consensus on the forums is people who hate are either jealous, or they want to steer you in the right direction..me personally, im saying i dont like it because its not a JDM car its a germal sedan...like porkchops said it should be tastefully modded, with the next mod in mind before doing the first, and second mod...maybe like porkchop says if you lower the car and put some nice aggressive looking wheels, the carbon fiber can be played off...otherwise it just looks terrible..i dont know why people are hating on the headlights, there dozens upon dozens of people on the b7 forum that have the same headlights..again personally not my taste, but modding is all personal taste...were just here to guide you by telling you your car looks like it is going to premiere in the 2011 sequel of Fast and Furious...im sure in the end youll pull it off

love the camaro...i have a 68 shelby in blue-love american muscle

Did you order springs too, or just the FSDs? Those wheels and some low should make everything come together a little better. I'm digging the CF spoiler...

Sorry I have to jump on the bandwagon here. I'm not a fan of the mods you did, but I think with black wheels and a drop the look will improve.

Why can't all critisicism be done like this. I personally like the way the car looks. It's a daily driver amongst my other cars. Just makes my commute more fun. Maybe I did the mods backwards but doing all the stupid stuff second, after performance, and not doing the handling and the brakes. Mainly I did it because i work 80+ hours a week. Stuff I can do quickly and easily make the mods more appealing. I can see all your points about it not being a jdm car. We'll see what happens. How many people here on the forum have gone through five different sets of wheels, 7 spoilers, 3 coilover setups, so on and so on. Who knows in a month I may have a completely new setup. I have the koni fsd springs and shocks kit from tire rack.

As for your Shelby. Beautiful car man.
