Are you replacing the seal on the pan side or the turbo side?

It's incredibly simple. I jsut did the drivers side on my car. The flanges on the pan side mount with a single 6mm Alan. On the turbo side there are 2 6mm alans. The turbo side you will have to purchase a new gasket from somewhere, and on the pan side it is just an O-Ring.

All bolts are clearly visable although the pan side alan is a bit hard to get to. It's easier with a stubby wrench.

Oil return is easy but I have a feeling that's not what is wrong with your turbo. If your turbo is spitting oil, we are talking internal seal which pretty much means you need new turbos.

did you get to this through the top side of the motor or underside?

It is an extremely slow leak, internal seal would cause burning oil no? I am getting a silver dollar size oil spot under the pass side turbo after driving

It could be anything but the return line is the easiest to fix.

Could you point me in the right direction on how to locate it? I've taken a cursory glance over the top back portion on the motor, but didn't see anything. I can't locate the source from underneath the car either. I've done my TB and other maintenance items, so I should be mechanically inclined enough to do it with some hints.

Climb under the car and look at the turbo where is the oil coming from, you should be able to see a trail of oil, if the middle and top of the turbo is dry and only the bottom near the allen bolts are wet then its most likely the gasket.

Is it only the oil dripping that's the symptom or you're also getting burnt oil smell along with it?

only dripping, and it only happens after running the car for a bit, after a little leaks and it is cleaned up, it stops leaking

You took the belly pan off when investigating the oil leak I assume? If not, you will have to do that and go underneath the car to tell us where it is dripping from. Taking a picture would be the best.

That almost looks like a power steering leak to me since the location you're showing is roughly in the middle of tranny. Could also the tranny leak but unlikely in this section. Can you take a white tissue next time you see it dripping and collect some and tell us color of it? See if it matches what's in power steering reservoir.

since your car is on jack stands already, start the car and look underneath. have someone turn the wheel if its power steering it will most likely leak. but anyways with it running you may see were it leaks from
