If I am going to change the clutch flywheel and etc.

Should I change the main seal or leave it alone?

Change it. It's cheap and easy insurance. You don't want to do the clutch again because of a dumb leak.

mine has 130k on it and I've slapped in 2 clutches without ever changing it. IMO, if its leaking, even in the slightest, change it. If its not, don't touch it.

It's a PITA. Don't fix it unless it's broke. More times then not if you replace it and it's not broken you will put it in improperly and cause a leak.

Plus after you change your clutch once you can drop the transmission no problem.

change it... it takes 5 minutes to install... and as long as you put it on right it will be cake to install. the plastic ring it comes with allows you to install it perfectly.

    cheap insurance. do it.

As a former audi tech.. I say leave it, unless it's sweating. If it's not broke, leave it.
