Some Asshat hit my front bumper

So I come out of Staples in Milford, CT yesterday and see the side of the bumper popping out as usual so I get ready to do the knee hit and see it's out more than usual. Check the other side and it's worse. Look at the bumper and the top edge has a decent sizes scrape and the headlight washers aren't lined up. Some J.O. in a SUV must have backed into me and of course no note. I think the support inside must have been bent down. Anyone have a fix for this?

people are gay. Other day I was in my S and some doucher parks very close to me (like inches) with plenty of parking around.... so I keyed him and let go of the biggest loogie ever all over his handle and another on his windshield. :) I felt satisfied.

I hate when this shit happens, could never key another car because i know how important mine is to me. i can relate to idiots in parkinglots i work at an extreamly busy hotel and have aquired some nice little dings and scuffs all around my poor car this summer that werent there before i went into work.

its a fact though, if you got a nice car, and park way in the back of an even empty lot, there will always always always be some big peice of shit parked inches away from you. i swear they do it on purpose. they enjoy scaring the life outa you

Those side support pieces are made out of plastic and only just snap in. They could either be snapped or the tabs MIGHT be able to be bent back to original shape. Without pictures is hard to say exactly what you need though. I would just take it to a body shop and see if they can just put it back in place for you if there's little cosmetic damage

Take bumper off and take pics if you can, really hard to tell from a description. And to whoever keyed someones car, at least find out who they use for insurance first I dont want my rates to go up because you keyed his car =)

if you have full coverage and put in a claim for a front pass door dent..... fd up door blades too....does you insurance go up?
I have travelers and have never put in a claim yet for anything... I got quoted $1000 to fix with blending rear pass door and front fender....... my deductble is $500..... I cant swing the thousand to fix.. 500 wld be better

^ I agree. I had a minivan touching my brand new RS4 bumper, two days after I had gotten my turbo swap done, they literally left the car touching mine, it was a new, unblemished Sienna. I ended up kicking off most of their front bumper. They didn't even have the decency to back up after hitting me. People that don't respect other people's cars, to say nothing of their own vehicles, get no respect from me.

See, I've been known to wait for said asshat to come back to his/her car before I fly off the handle. I'd like to think that giving them a fair chance to explain their douchebaggery before I send the fist of justice on them gives THEM the chance to make the situation right. If not, then, "Well, you'll be hearing from my attorney/insurance company as I've already got pictures." That usually fixes the problem. If someone's parked too close, I usually administer THIS and drive away, so long as no damage has been done.

We all make mistakes, but if I accidentally parked too close to someone and they just flew off the handle and destroyed my car, I'd be pretty upset. We all know how it feels. "Now I have to use my [insert upgrade money stash here] money to fix THIS bullshit!" C'mon guys. You're better than that.

Just wanted to point out with all the blanket statements being made, the person I was talking about had actually hit me, not just parked close to me. And they needed to replace that bumper anyway with what they had done to it before I made it to the scene. So I really do not see the huge issue with kicking something that was already damaged. I do realize my original post was too vague and did not portray the gravity of the situation and made it seem much more minor a contact than it was.

Its not like I go around keying cars guys (it was a joke). I can appreciate when someone parks a nice car next to mine, that I don't mind because I know they respect my car and their own. It's the cock bag that parks his 95 corolla with the doors falling off next to me to be a dick that gets me heated. I took my car from stock - stage 1 - 2 - now 605's, bodywork, countless hours, blood, skin and money in my car. Its like a member of the family, I literally love it lol. Im sure almost everyone on this forum goes out of their way to park far away from everyone. It just sucks that some people go out of their way to park next to people who care about their cars. It sucks even more when they do damage. I don't feel bad for people who do this and get a nice keying, my 2 cents.

Well there was the "trashy retard" comment haha, but whatever, with as vague as that one post was I deserved as much. I ended up replacing it anyway. It was just the last straw since I had replaced that damn bumper twice already in less than a year, I don't usually go hulk on people's broken bumpers.

That said. the original "there was a dent in my car from the doucher" justification that came after the initial idiotic statement has holes in the story that don't quite add up. unless A.) the other driver REALLY was an idiot and was RIDICULOUSLY skinny enough or had RIDICULOUSLY long arms to reach the door handle to open their door that was INCHES from your car, AND AND AND give it enough force to put a NICE SIZED dent in your car. Especially, since you stated that you had to enter the vehicle from the passenger door. or B.) it's possible there was a kid in the passenger side that attempted to open that door. or C.) the story was a quick back pedal story to justify your moronic actions to the AZine denizens, albeit not quite thought out.

It's possible I suppose that the cars were parked driver door to driver door. But then, how did the driver get out? Driver MUST HAVE went completely out of their way to exit THEIR OWN vehicle through the passenger door just to piss you off. Right.

Simple enough... Maybe you could've warranted the spit... Keying? That's downright out of control man. I'd want to beat the shit out of someone with a blown out b5s4 control arm if I caught them doing that to my car.
