yea the first code is your o2 sensor, bank 1 sensor 1 i believe is precat and your apr stage II+ anyways so the cat code is already deleted. Looks like you may have a bad o2 sensor, I'm not sure if this is doable but you could take ur aft o2 sensor and put it on the forward 1 and swap the harness connectors and see if the code goes away. I'm not sure if its the same sensor but I believe the only diff is the harness length. And you could just leave your aft o2 sensor out seeing how you have a test pipe anyways. You may want to atleast connect the harness to the aft o2 sensor spot cuz it may cause a diff o2 sensor code than the 1 thats deleted.

Well for my front O2 sensor I got this code:

000307 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S1: Response too Slow
    P0133 - 002 - Lower Limit Exceeded - Intermittent
    Freeze Frame
    Fault Status: 00100010
    Fault Priority: 0
    Fault Frequency: 1
    Mileage: 221306 km
    Time Indication: 0

    Freeze Frame
    RPM: 2653 /min
    Load: 36.5 %
    Speed: 99.0 km/h
    Temperature: 88.0°C
    Temperature: 29.0°C
    Absolute Pres.: 980.0 mbar
    Voltage: 13.716 V

And you CAN'T swap your O2 sensors it will not work they are both different in the way they collect data.. Ever notice the huge price difference in both of them?

    Hello Deez,

Typically the O2 codes do take a driving cycle to trigger the CEL again. You can scan and look for any pending codes to see if it is going to come right back. It is probably the heater circuit and not the whole sensor. Also, the primary O2 sensor is used by the ECU to read Air Fuel Ratio. So if it truly is a bad sensor, you will want to change it out fairly quickly and reset the stock ECU. This will allow it to re-learn the fuel trims (who knows if those were thrown off by the sensor issues).

    Hope this helps.

the o2 sensor has a heater circuit inside it from what i understand and all it does is heat up the o2 sensor to calculate air/fuel better/faster. I dont think u can change just the heater circuit but then again i could be wrong.

you guys have been great help, never had to deal with an o2 sensor before....another questions: ECS tuning and 2-3 other websites ive looked at sell only the sensor, and i am guessing you have to splice into the wires to connect it to the harness.....is that a safe solution to go to, or am i better off paying the 280 dollars and buying the entire cable and replacing it...the reason i ask is because i have found the o2 sensor for as little as 100 dollars...compared to the 280 for the entire setup

I don't like to splice when it comes with 02 sensors. Due to resistance issues that could arise and you might be back to square one. I know other guys will disagree, but for me I don't splice 02s.

get the Bosch part# from the O2 sensor and call up Napa or Auto Part Intl. They should be able to do much better than the dealer...
