north america mmi nav got the 3d building views?

when i put my 2011 nav in 3d mode, i dont see any buildings in 3d model........

You must be in an area with topology information which is generally only in dense downtown areas or other famous landmarks. For example, the Las Vegas Strip has this data. It has to get it from somewhere and they haven't done every building in America.

Spot on sir! Also check your set up screen on map content and make sure it's turned on.

Only a handful of buildings in Toronto is in the map. And you need to zoom to 200m or so to see them.

I work in downtown detroit and several buildings here are in 3d with my 2010 mmi 3g, so i can confirm it does work.

3D building is cool to look at but all it does is block my road view. I turn it off when i'm in downtown Chicago. It's annoying.

the 3D view works for me when I go to NJ on 95 thru Philly. Shows the Stadiums and other tall buildings

i agree it does get annoying especially you're looking for something tucked away deep into the city.
