If I remember my old ones, I remember setting them 5 clicks from 1.

    Great coilover choice btw!

Currently running 3 in the front and 5 in the rear. Only had them on for a little over a month so far so I haven't tried any other settings yet but they've been incredible so far.

The front needs some stronger dampening for sure, and mine wanted 4 after the initial brake in period. 2 was too stiff, and 6 was still a bit buoyant.

I am sorry to say i was not happy with the rear set up at any setting though. Car just never seem to settle down in the back, maybe because of our lousy roads here. I ended up running Koni dampeners on the rear with some Swift CO springs in place of the Bilstein stuff, and am much happier with that set up as far as ride quality and handling. You guys that run 4 or 5 in the rear of the PSS9's either have very smooth roads or have a much higher tolerance for pain than I do!

the problem with PSS9's is that the adjustment for rebound and dampening is not linear at all so, anything after about the #4 really has it on full soft.

I have it at 4 all around. Up here in Ohio, we do not have smooth roads (especially in Cleveland). The ride is still smooth and complaint. The one thing I do notice is the faster rebound when going over larger bumps or imperfections on the road. Other than that, I can easily go on long road trips without feeling any discomfort to my lower back (the S4 Recaro seats help too). I've done 500+ mile non-stop trips with ease. I'm not slammed down either. I have the height adjusted to Audi Factory race settings - 25" from top of wheel arch to ground.

The ride on this setup is definitely firm. You feel bumps and imperfections in the road, but it's not uncomfortable. At times on really bad roads it gets a bit annoying, but with the ET I'm running I have to run with a stiff setup or I'd rub on everything. It handles like nobodies business though. Definitely makes my lack of good tires VERY apparent.

For the most part they aren't too bad. There is a lot of construction during the spring/summer/fall so that tends to get a bit annoying with having to dodge manhole covers sticking up and abrupt pavement transitions. All in all though......not bad.
