    Been a While!

I have had a project in the works for quite some time now and the final result is just about finished now...

    the changes...

-ER comp intercooler with custom piping for AEB head, full race manifold and Bullseye power s256/.7 AR turbo
-New exhaust cam (intake was already done, old exhaust cam was a bit too aggressive)
-HKS SQV 3 BOV (for now, might end up going to tial)
-Eurodyne Maestro Software (being tuned for E85 ethanol)
-Cam advance delete (AEB), for reliability

this is all in addition to what was already done, which is quite extensive (several of you know about the original build)..but to sum it up

    -built motor..rods, pistons, etc
-AEB head, ported and polished, oversized valves all around, built head, cams, etc
-Bullseye Power S256 turbo, .70 AR, Tial 44mm external WG
-Full Race exhaust manifold, AEB intake manifold
    -1050cc injectors, impedance converted
-South Bend clutch and Dxd Pressure plate, light weight single mass steel flywheel
-B5 retro fuel system with adjustable FPR and fuel return line, upgraded pump.
    etc etc etc

good to see this is all coming along ted. Seems like we have all moved forward to build motors and larger turbo's since the old K04 days.

1803 cc which is a slight bore, no stroke...so a true 1.8. Dyno will definitely hit in the near future...once I get the base file tweaked a bit and get her dialed in!

Its been AEB since the first rebuild, and that was coming from a k04 powered car. The head is nice though with the big port advantages which were further advanced via the work we did on it. I still have a little of work left to do until it is running again, but probably just a day or so away until it fires for the first time in this configuration. Other enhancements obviously due to the new interccooler (LONG overdue) will be totally reworked intake piping for a true cold air setup via the bumper grille, MAF delete with the new software, and obviously FULL tunability and control via Maestro 7...which is really great! I can now have basically 2 setups..one for ethanol and one for 91 oct that can all be tweaked as needed as much as needed! I will be doing the initial setup on e85 since its actually quite a bit easier to tune for and a bit more forgiving and it will develop from there!

The car is in quite a few pieces at the moment...when it is all together I will bust out the DSLR and get some awesome shots. You can see about 90% of what it is today in my gallery here. I also have some shots in there of the head work and other stuff that was completed when the rebuild of the block/head first happened!
