    Hello dear Audiziners!

I have a serious question : I have a A4 B7 1,8T fwd (I live in Greece that's why),with stage one custom flash, Forge 005, free flow panel air filter, Bosch sparks (one setting colder) and Hitachi coils. The exhaust is OEM and I am thinking of replacing the two back boxes (right and left) with something less restrictive (custom built). Is this possible without changing something on the program? I know that the gains will be little but I like to do that. Thanks!

You won't have to change anything on the program, since like you said there will be little to no gains. Even if you got a full exhaust, your program would be fine.

thanks for the answer mate. Some people here in Greece say that if I change big things in the exhaust I will need some TT/S3 injectors because the turbo will spool faster and gain more overboost. This will cause shortage of gasoline in the peak and will cause the engine to run a lean mixture. The programmer said that no matter I change the exhaust nothing have to be changed in the program because it is running on 14,7:1. A friend of mine gave me a new N75 valve from TT225.Is it wise to install it also? The car runs 0,9 Ct and 1,2 overboost. By the way what is the capacity of the OEM A4 1,8T BFB injectors and the difference of the TT225 or S3? thanks again!

uhm, not quite. If you drive with basically an open ended testpipe you literally will be shooting flames all the time and it's actually not healthy for your car since all the heat coming off the turbo that is made to be routed through the exhaust to cool down will just be coming out the top. The engine bay will be running much much hotter as all that hot air will remain within the engine bay.

No,no guys.I don't like the noise since I travel a lot in the highway. I prefer a bit bass sound, so I don't like to ''open up'' the exhaust.Which is the preferable diameter according my setup?Any ideas about the injectors that I previously asked?

LOL well yes i was exaggerating a little, but a given exhaust is not going to mess with your tune
