It sounds pretty good imo. A little rumble at idle, louder under hard acceleration. With the resonator in place it was too damn quiet. Now I know there is combustion somewhere. It's never too loud or anything like that, and when I do hear it it's not raspy, rice or obnoxious.
For me this was an inexpensive way to get a bit more sound. Past experience with catback exhausts on the other cars didn't always impress me. Subjective as this is, some just didn't sound all that good to me after I had emptied my wallet, and HP claims made by some are just that: claims. With this car I'll spend the money instead on a HFC.

No drone at all. inside the cabin it's nearly as quiet as before, except as I posted above. It's now a 4 cyl. with it's throat cleared up. I notice it also a little when decelerating.
Video clip? I'll try even though I have enough trouble attempting to post a pic.

i pulled my resonators too....the sound is great because at normal driving there isn;t much of a change but when you really hit the throttle it sounds pretty mean....

however, about 4 months down the road i also pulled my cat out and now its stupid loud and obmoxious so my advice for anyone thinking of pulling their res, dont do it if you have plans to go catless

Unless you don't like the sound, I don't know what could be bad about it. Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5cqhyuBwIY

it can't harm the car in any way, if anything you would be improving the flow of the exhaust.

Hmmm, ok. Not sure where I heard that from than. Doesn't sound half bad, any chance of a take off clip? Don't forget that videos never do justice..

After a few weeks and a few hundred miles I replaced my non-resonated stock exhaust. Irrelevant of some of the comments made, it really wasn't that horrible, with one single exception: After a dead cold start it would sound like a fart can till the idle dropped, that I did not like one bit. I would put with it a lot longer were it not for a good deal on this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZrY4FWUMRi4

AWE, used but in great shape. One of the few exhausts I've ever bought, used or new, that sound just right for my taste anyway. Maybe next year I'll get an HFC and call it a day.

Sound quality from the flip cam isn't that good, but it sure picked up the idle diesel-like noise from the motor...

the non res stock exhaust with the stock cat sounds decent, it actually sounds pretty damn good at WOT but when you install a test pipe with the resonators pulled it sounds like absolute garbage
