    Blowin SMoke? Help

Alright when i bought my car i really didn't notice smoke coming out my exhaust then i got home checked the oil and it was on the bare minimum mark, i was like "o noo" and changed my oil asap. drove around for a few noticed the oil temp gauge actually moved seemed pretty normal still is never passes the half mark stays either low or at 1/4 mark. After the oil driving for about 5 mins i noticed some smoke, then when i drove and my k04 spooled and i either changed gear or stopped a plume of smoke came out.

My question is guys do you think its the turbo or my motor.

I have had a few suggestions given by me by my friend whose really mechanical and into audis saying its my turbo, because when he drove it he said you can hear the turbo whine.. which means its on it way to death. I just want to know what you guys think. A motor is a tad more the a k04 .All input is appreciated

only way to know for sure is to do a dry then wet compression test. Tehn you will know if its the rings (motor) or turbo.
