LEDs: ON or OFF??

So as I was walking to my car the other day I thought about how sharp it looks without the LEDs on. Obviously the LEDs are sexy, but does anyone else notice how they get all the attention?? When I see other Audi's on the road the LEDs are mesmerizing. Almost like I don't notice/appreciate the car's styling- just stare at the LEDs.



Does anyone else ever turn them off once in awhile?? Maybe on a bright sunny day, IDK. Here's some pics to illustrate my point - the grille is covered in matte black vinyl.... cheers

The guy that I bought mine from had them set to off, but I switched them back on. I agree that I think it changes the look...little more eye catching

I can't turn the LEDs off - just like that - I need to do it with VCDS if I should do it.

The LEDs should always be on in my opinion.

Sometimes I wish I could take the front grille off so the car doesn't look so cool.

How did you cover your Grille in black vinyl? any close up pics?

There is a DIY write up some where. Kind of a PITA though. I did it in 4 sections so there are 4 parts where it overlaps but its not noticeable from far. On the 2nd pic the overlap is just below that first horizontal bar.
