Will this void any warranties? Mostly worried about the wire harness that needs spliced into.

You should have no issues. Any warranty coverage ultimately depends on the dealership looking at the car, but we've been selling boost gauges for a decade now and have never heard of coverage being voided because of one.

Anyone have some insight as to why the needle on my gauge sits as it does in the pic.

    http://www.audizine.com/gallery/show...-00230&cat=all

I believe it has something to do with the wiring; fyi, the needle does still move sometimes but counter-clockwise.
    Thoughts?

wow! I was about to post with the same... Mine had been working perfectly for some months but two weeks ago started to do the same, went to full scale an stayed there. Two days after simply went to my "zero". (I live in a city at 9000ft, so zero means -4) and stayed there. I thought it was the connections which I checked, and they were all OK. So I dismounted it and going to contact AWE for warranty choices because definetivelly looks like defective MAP sensor and/or gauge itself.

I have had 2 sending units go bad in my gauge since I bought it. I am now on my 3rd and have had no issues thus far (knock on wood). Mine went to a point in the gauge and would not move. AWE covered them under warranty and sent me new ones.

Looks like I spoke too soon (should have never said anything I jinxed it) mine stopped working again. Worked fine in the morning and yesterday on the ride home it dropped to 28inhg and will occasionally float up to the teens inhg. Contacted AWE and hopefully they will get back to me with a solution.

It's not a very hard install. Some minor dis-assembly of the dash is required along with running/routing of lines. Here's a link to our installation instructions: http://www.awe-tuning.com/media/pdf/...boostgauge.pdf

Some clients install it themselves, others prefer to have a shop tackle it. It all depends on how comfortable you are working on cars.
