Hey guys/ladies. Posting from the A3 section, my mother had finally decided to update her car(more like forced to) and I took her to my dealer yesterday and we test drove a Q5 Sline and a 2011 A6 3.0T. I think she really loves the feel of the A6 since shes coming from a 1997 MB E420. She needs 4wd so quattro is good and the steering is nice, but I need input on the car's reliability. Being a forced induction motor, have you guys noticed or experienced any hassle with the motor besides burning oil like crazy (or is that just my 2.0tfsi)? Was the build quality excellent without minor flaws?(I know my A3 has some quality flaws but what the hey, base model is base quality). Is servicing the vehicle simple enough and after warranty are they overpricing "too much"? I'm asking these questions because she has been driving Mercedes E class sedans since coming over to America and she knows they are good cars so she is test driving a E350 4matic soon but the A6 is a higher pick so far. Thanks in advance.
