    A4 B8 brake upgrade

I was considering a brake upgrade. In the first place it is 'sadly' for looks only although additionally stopping power is welcome (untill this day i didn't require it or had to do an emergeny stop).
I noticed some time again the "RS5 365x34mm big brake package offer" witch occording to Europrice fits our stock A4 B8 without modification. Since it is a 8 piston Brembo designed caliper and OEM (performence) disk with a very decent price tag, i'm very temped to get this installed.
I was just wondering if any A4 B8 owner did this already and what their review about it is. Offcourse other suggestions are welcome, but somehow i can't be convinced into getting an full original Brembo/whatever kit as price/car-use simply doesn't cover it imho. I do around 10.000km yearly with most of the times trips of +-10km from and to work (got to love/hate short distances).

The kit normally comes with everything you need to upgrade from stock to this, but it doesn't include any upgraded brake lines and liquides. I was wondering if this is needed?
I'm not sure what the stock RS5 pads are (forgot to ask the seller), but any suggestions for better pads? I read ceramic (semi?) aren't that great for daily use, especially with short trips. Also i read they tend to eat up disk very fast compaired to normal pads. I don't really care about pad dust (considering to powercoat my 19" rims into titanium/gunmetal anyway) although less dust would be welcome aswell.

Additionally i was wondering if anybody know if the following modification would be possible to our A4 B8:
    http://www.audiworld.com/tech/wheel60.shtml
Basicly it adds (black compaired to stock grey and ugly as hell after one winter) backing plates with an air duct to extra cool the inner side of the disk. I read it might reduce wear on the inner pads aswell.... I guess it couldn't be bad in the end. Maybe somebody knows if the RS6/RS4/A4/whatever build) has equal shapes of the parts that require modification to mount these plates and air ducts.
Maybe there is an aftermarket air duct availible that fits the A4 b8?

I sort of had the idea to swap my non s-line bumper to an s-line bumper (i have a nasty damaged paint mark on the lip anyway) and buy me a set of those nice OSIR CF frog covers -> and build a custom air tunnel that sort of aligns with the brake air ducts. Not sure if that would be possible, air tunnel versus parts behind the fog cover (can't remember when i had them off once) or if it is possible and allowed to cut into the wheel case.

Anyway, any thoughts about one of the above things?

You might want to check out the StopTech brake kit Eurocode posted a couple weeks ago for sale. It seems like a great deal. Love my StopTechs!

I posted pics and impressions along the way. If you need to know anything specific, just ask in my thread and I'll do my best to elaborate. Don't want to clutter up this thread by going off-topic.

Yep sure did. I sold my Stasis SE08 because i cracked one... i was lucky i had a brand new spare rim. Got the oem 19" rs4 style wheels from the dealer with 255/35/19 michellins pilot sports as plus all season tires. These babies fit like a glove and the ride is better. front has no spacers, rears have a 15mm spacer. i believe the spec of the rim is 19x8.5 et 45... not too sure about the offset but no rub and im on s4 suspension which i believe is the same as the s-line.

Offset is ET43, btw. With 15mm spacers, that makes the rears ET28. Ok, enough off topic... don't want to clutter the thread, but I'd love to see some pics of your ride now!
