I'm happy with the 034 tranny mounts, but... (pics)

I wasn't able to get to the tranny bracket without removing the downpipe first. Here is a picture of the crack in the bracket, and the 034 Motorsports mounts vs. the old stock ones. I went with the Street Density, and am VERY happy with the result so far. Everything is much tighter in the drivetrain...

Take a look at this crack though, could it be the noise I hear when I pull into the garage over the 1 inch lip of concrete? And the noise I hear on certain bumps? Everything else is tight and in good shape, so I'm hoping when I do get the new bracket in, it will remedy the noise. Thanks.

IMO a noise over bumps and driving into and out of your garage slab would be associated with your springs shifting on their perches if you have an aftermarket coilover.
I just bought these mounts though, I'll be installing them next week hopefully so maybe I can comment on this better then.

I have the common H&R springs and Bilstein shocks combo. When you say the perches, you mean the bottom mount deal that the springs sit on? Thanks...

The mounts did tighten things up very nicely with my shifts, everything feels better. And the mounts were a piece of cake to install. The mount however is a MOTHER as you have to remove the DP's...so we are gonna do piggies and this mount all at the same time....

Is there a DIY for tranny mounts? I was looking to do mine soon as well.
