ABSOLUTELY NOT! Go to Kufatec's website and order the harness for the heated and power seats. I did this swap on my car and had to run the power wire from the fuse box, under the carpet, to the seats and splice them in.

I suggest you buy the harness and be done with it.

We have swapped in a passenger power seat into a 1.8T a4 no problems. We just placed the fuse. It was plug and play.

Easy swap. for the driver side, you'll need to swap a fuse under the steering wheel. For the passengers side, swap the fuse in the lower A pillar.

The seats will bolt and plug right in.

    WRONG WRONG WRONG.

If he has NO lumbar on either seat, he has ZERO power going to the seats as there is no power line running to them.

I had to run a power line to each one of the front seats to get them to work.

There is no existing plug and play module there.

    Trust me

Correct, I believe the green was for Memory seats if I am not mistaken.

1 plug goes nowhere I remember that.

Nah, iirc green was for more than just memory...I need to go back and look at my install notes. I feel like if he wants power/lumbar he'll need that other end of the green plug...

Now i wonder what the lowest trim A4 actually had and if it was the same price as a fully equipped jetta 1.8t

Let me get this straight....I have an 02 B6 and since I already have power lumbar and heated seats....all I have to change is the fuse? and everything else is plug and play? and this is for both driver and passenger seats?

I have an entire oem interior wiring harness 4 you, it has everything you need to wire it up. I bought it to convert my system to full power/heat, then didn't go through with it. PM me if you want it.

You will need to run wires, so use OEM!

As long as all the wiring is present on the car side, then yeah, you just need to add the appropriate fuses

sweet....now time to source some cheap power seats - does it matter if it comes from a b7? or not at all since they have similar interior components?
