    Muffler Delete?

    Anyone did a muffler delete on S5? I was thinking about just going to muffler shop and having them made me a straight back pipes from the main cat to the end, and then get some nice tips...

    Not sure how it would sound... ?

    Literally just ran into someone who did....it is LOUD but it sounds bad ass

    If you want to go that route just do electronic cutouts so you can be insanely loud when you want but maintain the comfort when you need it. It will be expensive to have the exhaust you are questioning made if it is stainless steel. It will be extremely loud but since it is the v8 should sound good. To be honest a catback with downpipes will yield better results in terms of performance, interior noise, and provide a more refined exhaust note.

    I am having my rear mufflers removed tomorrow. Cutting all out from cat back and installing AWE mid muffler then stainless pipe back to my 4" tips. Can't wait to hear it! All for about $550.
