After 2.5 years of a sloppy shifter, I think I finally know why after emailing the previous owner.
Turns out when he was installing the Toy Guy shifter I currently have, he lost the little white cap and spring inside the shifter base.
The spring is only about 1/3 of an inch in diam and about 2" in length and the white cap is rounded on one side and hollow.
Is it possible to buy these parts individually or is there some type of shifter rebuild kit available?
