    SSAC Turbo-back

I recently needed to buy an exhaust and after considering a few things I decided on the SSAC exhaust. I had heard mixed reviews of them so at first I was a bit nervous, however everything turned out great.

I had heard that the company was backed up on product and that it took a month to get. I contacted SSAC and within a few minutes had a response. I ordered the exhaust and it was at my house in just a few days.

Customer service was great. Couldn't ask for more from them. Even with a few questions I had after the purchase concerning other parts.

Install went just as well as any other exhaust I've done. A swear here or there and a beer and everything fits.

Here are a few pics from install:

The car sounds pretty good once it fires up. I installed the testpipes as opposed to the highflow cats. It has a nice growl to it. Not overwhelming but nice. My favorite part is the sound of the turbos spooling up. It sounds like theres a small child stuck to the car whistling real loud.

If i can get a video Ill post it.

Overall I am more than happy with the purchase and the company. If you need an exhaust at an awesome price, you can't beat it.

Anywhere really. Just google "exhaust braided flex pipe 2.5" ". Or call around local distribters and see who carries them local.
Do it right, or don't bother.

You can get post turbo and pre turbo flex couplers from these two sources:
    http://vibrantperformance.com/catalo...Path=1022_1064
    or
    http://www.treadstoneperformance.com...locking+Lining

    I would use vibrant.

I get this on my S4 and it sounds great :) and the turbo sound is amazing at first I thought that something was wrong with my turbos but soon I notice it was because of the exhaust :)

I got this exhaust and my mechanic said it seems they improved alot over the years. Install was very good except for a little here and there and the quality was very good.

+1 on the exhaust. I want to delete the rear muffler cause its not loud enough for me.

I bought my exhaust through the group buy for what they called the DNA exhaust but it's essentially the same exhaust, made in the same Chinese factory. Mine fit flawlessly and I installed it in about 30 minutes with my car on a lift. The sound was great when new but after a month or two it got progressively louder. I keep smelling burned paper when I drive the car harder, which only shows that the sound dampening material in the mufflers is made out of paper and it slowly burns out, which is most likely why the exhaust gets louder and louder. I am starting to think about replacing one or both of the mufflers with real quality mufflers since the mufflers used are in the same quality range as the 19.99 mufflers on bay. For the price it can't be beaten but quality in components is not present. What can you expect though.

You have to specify wether you want the cats or the test pipes. also you may want to pickup exhaust couplings from your local vw/audi dealer if yours are rusted or need replaced
