    Eurodyne Stage 2 flashed!

Finally got the car flashed last night and Eurodyne's injector file is good bush. I'm running 034 cat/AWE exhaust and with the flash/injectors, I can finally hit the passing lane with confidence Acceleration is smooth and more linear than I expected. Exhaust sounds better with the extra boost pushin thru it and the car doesn't fall so flat after 5k like it did with the stage 1 APR. Got a 007 on its way and haven't decided on an ER tip or Forge unit yet, but kinda leaning towards ER black anodized... Anyway, got the flash at HS Tuning in Lakewood, OH (15 minutes west of Cleveland). Very cool, down-to-earth guys running the place so if you're in the Cleveland area I would highly recommend doing business with them.
After we went and test-drove my car, they took me for a ride in a Garrett 35r-powered blue R32 they built (some of you probably saw it at waterfest). My friends, it was a religious experience!! I've driven some fast cars before ('97 911 twin turbo, '06 V10 M5) and this thing was far and away the nastiest machine I've ever had the privilege to ride in! I was gigglin like a school girl

Yea that was the first car I ever drove that made me say uncle. I let out of it at 170 with the owner of the car sitting next to me in the passenger seat and our buddy in the backseat...and it wanted more. But alas, I ran out of huevos.

Any videos of your car? I've been wanting to hear what a 034 cat/awe exhaust sounds like for quite some time.

How much was the stage 2 flash? And what kind of injectors

Stage 1 and 2 Eurodyne are both 450 bucks, which is very affordable relative to other tunes available (and it's 250 bucks credit toward Maestro if I choose to go bigger)...I'm using OEM TT225 injectors. I'll see if I can get a vid up this weekend. FWIW, the guy that flashed the car complimented the exhaust when we took it for the test drive.

The guys at HS Tuning do great work. Glad you like the flash tune! That .:R32 VRT is a sweet and powerful setup. They need to get that beast on the dyno to figure out what it's putting to the wheels. Replacing the TIP will make a noticeable improvement. You're on the right track!

Thanks Paul... I can already tell I'm gonna need engine and trans mounts too. Whats your vote on the inlet pipe...aluminum ER unit, or a silicone one? And yea....I'd love to see the numbers on that VRT...gotta be outrageous

If your future plans are to get a set of S4 Bi-Xenon ecodes, then go with the silicone pipe. You won't get them to fit with the aluminum pipe. Honestly, unless you're thrashing it constantly, you don't really need the added strength of the aluminum pipe. I've had (and still use) a silicone pipe for 5+ years with no issues of collapse or air flow.

what sort of improvements did you see from the injectors alone? i know apr suggests that going from stage 1 to stage 1+ (added injectors) gives +20hp, and +30tq, but i think those numbers sound optimistic. any more low end torque or quicker spool to speak of? you said the car doesn't fall flat after 5k, is this due to the exhaust, injectors, or both?
sorry for so many questions, but i am planning to get apr 1+, so i am curious

Jordon, I went from stock to stock with full exhaust to stage 2 Eurodyne with exhaust. However, I did have Apr 1 for a few days last year (stock exhaust) and it was definitely a nice jump in power up to ~4500 rpm with a sharp dropoff in power anywhere above that. So I blew two coil packs in as many days and being new to the car, I had no idea of the problems with the old coil packs so I got put back to stock and got a refund. (I have since gotten the new CPs from the dealer and no more problems) So this summer, me and a buddy installed my 034 hfc and AWE exhaust. Definitely noticable faster spool with torque coming on faster and earlier in the rpm range. Rode like that for about 3 months and then went with the injectors/Eurodyne flash. The software and injectors combined with the free-flowing exhaust makes for a much much more enjoyable driving experience. The car has a bunch more power, and holds it longer in the upper rpm range (still no reason to stay in it til redline, I'll shift ~56-5800 when I get on her). FWIW, I have noticed a significant amount of heat-soak and I can feel the car pull timing, especially 2500-3500 rpm. I'm on the hunt for an fmic as of now and I'd strongly recommend you factor that into your plans (as well as a hi-flo cat). Good luck and feel free to throw out any other questions...

Did you have a chance to make a video of the exhaust? I'm very curious :)
