Weird Noise. Please help a NOOB!!!

hey guys, recently my car has been making a wierd chirping noise for the first couple of minutes when it starts up. my friend said it may be a belt, but i feel it could be the turbo. When i accelerate, so does the noise, and it gets louder. also, when i am not accelerating it doesnt make it at all. also remember that it goes away relativly fast, but i hate it. its so embarrasing when im with people. Anyone got any ideas??

yea its most likely your belt, and the reason it only happens for a short period of time when you start your car is because it takes awhile for it to sit correctly

I would imagine it to be a pulley or a belt.
It shouldn't be your turbo because your turbo isn't going to spooling at idle.

Thanks guys. I'm gunna try to pinpoint it and hopefully its only a belt. If it is the belt and I get a knew one it should stop right?
