The engines are not identical. Plus, do you really want to spend $19K for a supercharger, which is what APR is asking?

They are two different engines. MTM has a supercharger for the C6 4.2. I think it runs about $22K plus installation. Take a look at their website.

Don't buy that PES shit. MP90 on these motors isn't gonna do much at all. Hell even VF is using the MP90 on the RS4, which is asinine.

The APR setup would be a good bet, TVS1320 has a lot more headroom.
You represent the idiocy of today.

75-100hp for ~$20k? Does that sound pretty good to you?

    its not 20k... Its ~8K for ~30%

    STAGE 1 PLUS
An intercooled version of the 5psi kit with an air - liquid intercooler system producing a power increase of approx 35% over stock. This configuration was tuned for vehicles with Tiptronic transmissions. It offers excellent power with no worries of transmission failures. Stage 1 PLUS is also a great alternative for those with 6speed cars that want to add significant power while keeping the boost pressure down to the modest 5psi level due to poor available fuel or extreme ambient temperatures. $8495

im not saying im habding them my credit card...im just trying to understand whats everyone saying...are all superchargers just not worth it ... or is PES just not worthy... or something else
