Ok i did some research and i am suppose to use about 2.5 liters of GL4 oil for the tranny, there are two drain holes for the tranny.
One drain for the rear diff. also do i use the same oil in the rear diff.
And last but not least where do i get the fluid.

thank you all and have a good day.

you can get the oem fluid from the dealer. Or upgrade to mt90 redline or motul. on performance builds at our shop we use the best of the best which is Swepco 201 fluid which is generally used in the Porsche world. but i would highly recommend this fluid to everyone. it has cured many syncro grinding issues.

you can use the same fluid for the diff also.

I'm running a mix of 2/3 Redline MT-90 and 1/3 Redline MTL in the tranny and 100% MT-90 in the rear diff. I hear (mostly from Scotty@advanced) that Motul is a better choice.

I just can't recommend Redline fluids with what I've seen inside the S4 gearboxes. Some people have had good results with Redline products, and some have not. However the few gear lube tests I've seen Redline gear oils do exhibit poor shear strength which could be the cause of the gear surface galling I've seen on some Redline lubricated boxes.

The factory stuff is pretty good as is the Motul gear 300. Both cost about the same, $15-$20 per liter.

FWIW, YMMV,BTDT, Caveat Emptor and all that other BS....

2 drain plugs and 1 fill hole. one in the center diff and one in the tranny itself. open the fill plug first then the 2 drain plugs and let it drain out.
