Hey guys, I'm pretty sure I have all of the tools and parts for the job I am about to tackle. Forgot to bring the camera for a diy, haven't seen any and just flying by the seat of my pants for the day. Wish me luck.

Oh and Josh, if you aren't doing anything today I'm at the shop doing this.

LOL, one hour in and I'm still having trouble with the caliper bolts. I have a feeling they were overtorqued, sprayed it with pb blaster 3 times now. Don't have access to a torch, any ideas?

not to sound crazy, but are you loosening the correct bolts? The first time I did my front brakes I though I was attempting to loosen the caliper bolt, oops, I wasn't! The bolt I was going after was a big torx bolt that was tightened up pretty good, I am glad that I didnt have to actually remove it because it started to strip the head! The tool only seat into the head by about 1/8th inch or so, and Im guessing it was torqued to over 50 lbs!

No it was the correct bolts, one upper and one lower. I'm guessing the shop I brought it to over tightened the bolts when doing my pads and rotors.

Good news, the hub is off and I got the inner race off the hub.

Now I'm just trying to figure out how to get to the, what I'm assuming are torx head bolts, on the back side of the spindle. Might be easier if I can get the drive shaft out of the way but having a hard time figuring that out right now. I'm going to try looking up some tips, but I will check back here every couple of mins to see if anyone can shed some light.

Definitely a big learning curve on this one, however next time should go a lot faster.

Got two of those bolts out, turns out somebody else was there before me and decided to strip out the other two. Now waiting on my old man to get here with some more tools to try and get the two stripped bolts out. The hard part is almost over, this has just taken me way too long, and my frustration level is extremely high. But that's what I get for tackling this on my own, lol
