I was driving to work this morning and I was getting onto the freeway when my car gave me a warning beep three times and then the emergency brake light blinked three times. I can't tell you if I got a cel or not because my cel is always on as of right now until I get a cat delete file. I haven't had a chance to scan it for codes or anything yet because, like I said, I was on my way to work. I will scan it when I get home. Just wanted to know if anybody knows what this means. Thanks in advance. The car seemed to run fine the entire time I was driving into work though, so as of yet I have no clue what it could be.

What ever happened with this? My emergency brake light started flashing tonight while driving, but it only flashes and beeps when I turn the steering wheel slightly right. Does NOT do it when the wheel is straight or turned to the left. No ABS light, nothing but the emergency brake light flashing.

It's related to your rear brakes and them being close to replacement or your brake fluid is low... end of story.

Yet, mine flashes and beeps while i'm driving & only when i'm making right hand turns, no other time. I'm thinking it could be a speed sensor. Scanned the car, no codes. Very odd.

Then it could possibly be your e-brake cable is stretched/caught on something. Happened to me when I first yanked the ebrake really hard on a hill.

Thanks for the replies Groove. I'm going to have to find my E-brake cable and see. In the end, how did you fix yours from the light flashing when you yanked on it to hard?

Replaced the rear pads and cable. Pads were down to 2%
