    FMIC weekend project.

    Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Needed to put a bigger FMIC on for more flow so I purchased a Godspeed intercooler core to go with my current setup. The old dimmensions were 26 widex6 tallx2.5" thick , the new is 30x10x3" .
    I had to hack alot of my bumper core support out in order to fit the new FMIC behind it.
    As always I like to keep it stealthy. Purchased some Eastwood radiator paint to cover it up.

    Put all back together.


    I still need to trim here and there to get everything perfect but the bumper is on.

    Looks good Chris Were you able to keep your secondary air pump with that piping or did you remove it?

    I removed it over 2 years ago. Im sure you can keep it if you are careful with the pipe routing.

    Damn chris,

    I had no idea that you were running such a small intercooler with the pes setup you had previously. hows the new setup running/pulling?

    Havent had the time to test it out yet. I literally slapped it on yesterday then headed back down to school so I didnt wanna blow a pipe from here to there. Ill give it a go in the next few days or so, hopefully this solves my issues!

    Not yet, I don't have a Vagcom at the moment, hopefully this weekend. Im aiming for lowered IAT's and waaay less timing pull. My logs last time were off the chart.
