    Painted Door Blades??

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I was at a local AutoX today running one of my F125 shifter karts and thought of an interesting color scheme. Orange wheels and Orange door blades and orange roof rack. The Car in question is a '04 AR 2.7T

So the question is how easy is it to remove the blades and the rack from the vehicle if I wanted to paint them?

Maybe a little photo shop action later in the week when i get time...

Its not hard to paint doorblades, every year after winter i paint mine. I go to the Audi garage and order my cars color in spray cans, if you prep and do it right it looks just fine and last.

Door blades are easy if the Phillips-head screws haven't rusted up on you. IIRC you need to pull part of the headliner to get the roof rails off.

Is your car black? I think the orange would look really good on black, maybe not so much on other colors like highland green lol.

If you do pull off the roof rails for paint post a good diy on how to remove them.

Are you going to a paint shop or you will doing yourself ?

Because if you go to a paint shop he should be able to paint your roof rack directly on the car
