    I'd move to manual. Just make sure you tension it correctly. The manual roller is much less prone to failure than the hydro mechanism.

    That's the thing, there isn't one. It's really up to the tech to adjust it correctly. Too tight, or too loose and the consequences can be severe. I have lots of experience with old 8v and 16v engines. So for me it's no big deal. But without knowing your mechanical abilities, I would not recommend it.
