Under Driver Kick Panel Relay Diagrams?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Wow, haven't made a thread here in a bit. But it really is an awkward situation. We were helping a friend diagnose his car one day and took out all of the under panel relays when his wipers wouldnt turn off. Fast forward to today when I am driving my car around again, a few items do not function so well like seat movements.

Each year has different relays and different placements underneath. I have a 2001. If anyone has any resources they could share it would be geat. I'm sure we have a 2001 in the back of the shop but a diagram would be alot easier to deal with than bending over upside down for about 20 relays.

    Thanks! :)

im going to necrobump this since i still need this since my passenger side seat is stuck in the same position all along. Anyone have the diagram for under the driver side dash for relays?

    Thanks

Have you confirmed that the seat itself works? Hook it straight up to the battery with an inline fuse and ensure the seat itself functions. If motor and all functions, then onto the next step, which is going to be a Bentley. I am not sure which multipurpose relay is for the windshield wipers, but I'll take a look this weekend.

My S4 turns its wipers on about 30% of the time I start the car. I turn the wipers on and off and the relay clicks back open. I know visually which relay that one is, although the seats probably use a different one.

Worst case scenario, you can always wire in a new relay that runs off the 75x under the dash and then pull power from the battery.

Thanks for the reply Max, I know the seat works, i got most of those relays below back in the proper order, I might be missing one or two or even the fuse that goes to it down there. Went to the junkyard and scavenged a bunch from an A6. But besides that, I looked in the bentley and I could not find anything. Might have been alldata. I am searching now for someone who may have taken a picture underneath there just as a reference.

Ugh so annoying when people drive in my car they constantly have to gangster lean.

Want me to snap a pic? We probably have an A6 here at the shop and plenty of S4's.

That would be cool, don't make it a priority, just whenever you go out there and remember it. Thanks a lot!

One relay is missing; the windshield wiper one. Well rather, it is there, but missing the cover.

Sadly, all the relays are in order and that still wasn't the issue nor can i locate a fuse for the pass seat, maybe its the relay panel under and behind that one. I don't wanna bug you for another photo so ill wait until we take my buddies off to install his boost gauge.

    Thanks for the help!

    Nice reference for others too.

Thanks again!!, I went the other day to grab a pic from a buddys car and was going to post it up here for future reference. But seems like you beat me to it, but what isn't shown which i think is my problem are the two green fat audi fuses up in the back left of that rear relay panel.

I'm just assuming here, that 1 is for passenger side and 1 for driver side seat function. Need to grab it from the junky as I don't have one at the moment, but I will let yall know.
