    Painting chrome???

Alright gangsters, quick question and hopefully a quick answer?

Im about to paint my chrome surround black but not sure how much sanding is required?

iv got some fine sandpaper and have rubbed it down to take most of the shine off but its still quite shiny, it has a key, will this be enough for the laquer to stick or do i need to keep going untill all the chrome has gone cos that could take days.

    Thanks.

all you have to do is scuff the service basically just get the clear off the reason being is the paint will slip and wont hold properly when you scuff the surface you allow the paint to catch to the surface .....im in the process of doing the same exact thing just primed everything yesterday
