Question about 3d Navi Map view

When the navigation in my car is set to 3d view, the top of the screen does not display the map. Is this normal?

It's a bird's eye view setup so the top of the screen is the sky.

it took me a while to get used to, but I do like it now.

Yes, that cut off/line is also know as the horizon. :)

Strange, the Garmin's I've use have never done that. At least it isn't broken :)
