    flex pipe is broken

    go to a muffler joint and get a new one welded on. it'll be alot cheaper than buying an entirely new downpipe.

    Your right, but if you looking forward to any future upgrade in that area, I guess he can kill two bird with one stone. But, really he can get a custom DP with the flex pipe for less than the militek at a muffler shop.

    I'll have to think about this. is there really any advantage to the milltek downpipe over a stock one? isn't it just a pipe?

    The only difference is that the Milltek is 2-½" diameter whereas the the OEM is slightly under 2-¼". With a K03 turbo I doubt you would be able to tell the difference.

    I don’t know what shop you going to but here in New Jersey everywhere I went they wanted $300-$400 for a stainless steel 2.5in downpipe.

    No, I was talking about aluminized steel, SS will definitely by more costly.

    Call up AMS in Linden. They replaced my flex pipe for a lot cheaper than $200.
