Weird pulling issue after new drivers front cv install

So I blew drivers side cv leaving h20 last week. I got back down to md today and Installed a new one, in a parking lot, awesome times. But now I'm having an issue where every once in a while when driving on the highway the car will pull to the drivers side, almost feels like torque steer in a fwd car. Mind you this is at a constant velocity, which makes little sense to me. The only thing I can come up with is that maybe there is some schmegma on the abs sensor causing the drivers front to brake randomly. This didn't happen before the new cv, so it seems odd to me. Any ideas?

did you put loctite on the tranny flange bolts they should of given you? if no, then remove them, put loctite and reinstall, they WILL back out. they come factory with loctite.

is the axle bolt all the way in and tq'ed right? that is a stretch bolt and shouldnt be used.

you could have something coming loose. i would just double check everything. also, depending how you installed it, you might of messed the alignment up.

does it pull when you hit bumps or dips? if so then that's bumpsteer and is your alignment on that side.

then you might look more into the alignment issue then. does it do it while hitting dips and bumps? or just on a straight line smooth road? does it pull all the time or pull and stop pulling, then randomly pull again?

a buddy in a b5 is having axle issues.. no one can figure it out. his started with a wheel bearing being bad, put a new bearing and hub in it.. ever since, that same side drags on his caliper or carrier depending upon the day.

point is, maybe check your pads for uneven wear? maybe something is letting the rotor drag on the brakes every once in awhile. its def going to be a get in there and just start picking it apart.. rotate the rotor without a wheel on it and see if you can hear it grabbing, etc.

Did you take off any of the control arms while doing this. If you did and the side you was working wasn't loaded when you tightened them then you might start there.

Didn't take anything apart other than the 7 bolts holding the half shaft in. 1 17mm hex, 6 10mm 12 points....it feels almost like the dif is letting loose for a few moments then grabbing again...it doesn't seem like an alignment issue....it does it on smooth highway with no bumps, divots, or dips.
