sounds like they started the car with the oil cap off. most likely has similar faults as a faulty pcv..

just have them erase the code and see if it comes back in a few days. Aftermarket air intakes usually dont throw maf codes and intake flap motor (if thats what your referring to) is a known problem and is a relatively easy fix. But best you can do is see if the code comes back.
Selling Nogoro blue Alcantara door panels. Will fit b6/b7 a4/s4/rs4. In great condition, originally wanted $600 shipped but dropped price to $500 shipped. Check my classifieds for pictures. I want these gone, will include extra door clips if requested. PM me if you want pictures of them installed or anything else I want these gone so make me an offer and we'll talk.

Probably it will come back, and probably has nothing to do with the oil change. There are hundreds of stories of "just had my oil changed, then......". In my experience it's about 50/50, shops fault/bad luck. If your not sure, get a second opinion at another shop. IMHO, most techs love pointing out other shops mistakes, for good or bad.

Take it to autozone and get the code. I know the light isnt on, but the code will still be stored in the ecm. Could be simple as an evap leak.

this is normal if they started the car without the cap off. Happened to me once or twice :( Clear the codes and drive for a couple of hours. They code may never come back which was the case with me.

    Yes,

Maybe an evap leak due to gas cap or n80 valve sporadically not performing to oem design. Or perhaps a system to lean fault which could be caused by the oil cap, crankcase valve, etc. The list goes on buddy. Just get me the code and I will tell you all.
