Reusing Brake Wear Sensors

Just got my posiquiet front pads to replace my worn stock one. Since I have not tripped my sensors yet, I've heard I can reuse them on my new pads. The oem pads have a couple wires that are embedded in one of the front pads. How exactly would I have the wires rerun into the new pads then spliced and attached to the old sensors? Are there wear wires that come embedded on all brake pads?
