Reinstalled Nose Now the Auto Leveling Error is on

Just took the money pit B6 ’04, S4 to a local shop to replace the accessory belt and the screaming pulleys after only 60K.
Just got the car back after more than a week and 10 hours labor – also changed the VC gaskets and now the “escaping squid” (stolen analogy) light is on in the center cluster.
They have no clue how to correct it.
Symptom: No noise when you turn on the lights (from the headlight motors) and no movement – up and down.
Is there a simple plug he might have missed?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

I did a search to late someone with a VAG COM and I found one... less than 1 mile from my house!!! 20 minutews later, following the step by step directions found on www.armods.com and it was solved.

    Thanks Sootwagon!

    All is good again!

That system is very fickle. For the last year my thing complains at random while I'm driving for a few minutes, then goes away for a month or two. From what I read, lots of people have random errors from it.
