But to help, on the DDM kits, you need to reverse the polarity on the fogs. So that means you need to cut the wire and reverse them. I'd also take the error eliminators out b/c that's just an added step in diagnosing them. Get them running, and if you are getting bulb out errors, then plug them in and see if they're working.
Basically I'd say:
1)remove error eliminators and try
2)If they're still not working, then you'll probably need to try reversing the polarity (which may mean you can't return, so your risk). If you don't want to do that, then you can return and get the DDM and people will be able to provide much better support.
3)If they're working with the reversed polarity but they throw an error (some do, some don't, haven't really seen a consensus on which models do and don't, my 2005.5 didn't need them), try the error cancelers. They should still work, but if not you may need to play with the polarity at that point again.
I would highly suggest just getting them working without the code eliminators though so that you can at least know what works and what doesn't. Also, I'm sure you're well aware, but make sure you don't ever touch the bulb part with your hands/fingers. The slight grease can cause premature failure and even to explode (timeframe can be almost instant to running for while but then going out).
