Another headlight question thread (Angel Eyes)

I posted a thread before about angel eyes I have another question I can't seem to find blue angel eyes for the B6 I can find plenty for the B5 but no blue ones for b6 anyone have Blue angel eyes on there A4 or know where I can get some? I've been lookin at simple stuff to change the appearance of my car but keep comin up short. Rarely any smoked tail lights LED online. Am I missin somethin is the B6 a less popular model then the B5 or B7? I want somethin like these

Never heard of it. And forkin out money for appearance. Custom made fenders body kits side skirts. Ect.

I'm just lookin stuff that will make it stand out compared to all the other A4s out there.

It's still just as expensive to modify and maintain, you're just limited on performance.

This is more reason you should be willing to put the money into making the car look good and not cheap.

Just got back from auto zone. I lined my dash and under my hood with some leds it looks pretty bitchen. I bought me a gnarly spoiler too it stands taller on my trunk then my roof. But the guy behind the counter said it would add 15 horse power he also threw in some spinner hub caps and some blinker fluid so that plus the LEDs boosts me to 375 whp also it's great appeal.

Lol I personally think the angel eyes are a BMW trademark. You could always go the LED route and/or black out the light housing. At the end of the day, it s you car and ur money so get what u like.

The guy asked where to buy them, not if you like them. If he wants to put angel eyes on his car than let him, it doesn't hurt you or the community at all by him doing this. Regardless of how you all feel, people are going to mod their car the way they want whether you like it or not.

Besides, BMW's are nice cars and i've always thought the halo's were nice on them. I don't see anything wrong with trying to emulate another high end German car. You're essentially trying to take the best of everything. I do agree however that you shouldn't cheap out on the headlights. If you do buy angel eyes, make sure they are at least good quality. I think the crappy made in China or Taiwan crap is what makes them look bad, not the halo's themselves.

EDIT: i've always been a fan of the angel eyes on MKIII's and MKIV's, so i don't see why they couldn't work on a B6. But it's like i said, it's just the quality of the ones you buy that makes the difference.

The manners on this board are a much bigger issue than someone's individual taste. And besides, my point was not "sweet bro i think Angel Eyes are tight!" My point was who gives a crap whether he puts them on or not? Apparently you and a bunch of other patronizing individuals do, but why is beyond me...

And sure, i'll give the OP the benefit of the doubt and say it could work as long as he doesn't skimp on quality. I haven't seen enough Angel Eyes on a B6 to really form an opinion. But to me it kind of seems like the same situation as the Devil Eyes, the only market is cheap, poorly made, low quality stuff. But the IDEA of it isn't necessarily terrible. Because like i said, they look good on a BMW, so as long as you got the right equipment who's to say it CAN'T look good? It's an indifferent stance on the subject, so please take the attitude somewhere else.

I'm more defending the OP's right to be rice if he wants to. To be honest, since the trend comes from BMW's i don't see it as a "rice" thing. However, I do see it as a rice thing if they're just crappy looking housings. I'm not mad or offended or anything, all i'm saying is think about if the housing was identical to a nice ecode housing with xenons and everything, only with a single ring around the projector. I'll agree that most angel eye products on the market as of now could probably be considered rice, but not because of the halo, because of the cheap ass look they have. It makes them look tacky, which translates directly to rice.

I know your comment wasn't necessarily directed towards me, but both posts you made just had a rude/negative connotation. And if we can't get along and just help each other out and be supportive, our whole community suffers. More so than a couple individuals making a "rice" mod.

I wonder if people on other car forums call one of their brands of cars "rice" when they throw LED strips on them. It is something Audi definately had out first; it defines the new Audis, but some other manufacturers are copying big time. And the aftermarket LED's on some of these non-Audi cars is laughable; I saw a Dodge Durango with aftermarket LED's in the headlights.
I wonder if the people on the Durango forum (you there HAS to be one somewhere, lol) are calling the dude rice and telling him the LED's should be left for Audi's only.

That's my only gripe on Angel Eyes. I see them, and I think BMW. They should stay there, simply because of that. I like them, and I even like them on Audis. But they are a BMW thing, and as such, I'd never think of doing it. Those fuggers think we all want to be BMW's anyhow; I don't want to give them any more reason to believe so.

Even then, what is the 'quickest' B6 A4? Mid 12's or something? And the next fastest? and then the next? 14's? All show and no go...
