Today my engine check light turned on and it's been making that sound ever since, I went in and got it checked out it said it had something to do with my intake or camshaft sensor or something. I tried looking it up but couldn't find anything that helps, does anybody know what's wrong?

You think the check engine light would go off if the levels were to low?

I had a bad ticking sound upon start up, I got on the highway and my oil light started to flash, I checked oil, it was low. I added oil, this didnt help. I changed oil and filter and sounds and runs normal and the light has gone off including my CEL. This just happened yesterday. So yeah this is where Id start.

the check engine light isnt going to be related to a low oil situation, the low oil situation is connected to the oil light on the dash, most likely your low on oil or its needs to be replaced, better do an engine flush before you burn up the top end of your motor, sludge is an enemy get rid of it asap

Thanks a lot, is there anywhere I could find out how to do an engine flush on my car? I don't really want to take it in for something like this.

my oil light would flash occasionally a while back.

i put seafoam into the crankcase and then changed the oil with Mobil 1 0-40.

    light hasnt came back since.
