    18" Breyton Inspiration Wheels?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
So my brother has these 18x8.5 front and back breyton wheels laying around but they are a 5x120 lug pattern so i will have to run an adapter. so my question is will i be able to run that offset? the offset of the wheels is +35, so on top of the adapters is that gonna work? if so where can i find those adapters or would it be better to just have a machine shop make me some. thanks in advance

Do you know if it can run that offset. Cuz they have the same offset but am worried about the spacers sticking em out to far

20mm adapters will make the wheels ET15, and that won't work.

I wouldnt run that setup. If your end offset is ET15 that is way too much poke/aggressive.

Alright. Now my next question is it possible to have custom made adapters less than 20mm? like maybe 10 or less or will there not be enough material and be unsafe?

x2 on what Lelix said. i think the adapters have to be that thick because they bolt to the hub, and then you bolt the wheel to the adapter, so you need the width to bit to when tightening the wheel.

you could always re-drill them if you really wanted to.

depends on where its done. with re-drilling there is an element of "you get what you pay for". Also depending on the wheel design, you may need a larger adapter (25mm+) in order for your hub bolts to not interefere with the mounting of the wheel. If you got a 10mm conversion adapter for instance, the bolts on your hub may sitck out too far and not allow the wheels to sit flush with the hub.

Well sounds like to much work for these wheels, they are bent and would be needed to be sent out and fixed so i think imma pass on this. Thanks for all the good info guys.
