    MPG freak out??

    So I noticed that my MPG reader was going insane today going from 45.1 to 23.2 then back to 37.6 etc??

    It was probably displaying the instantaneous mpg rather than average mpg.

    I leave my display on the continuous so that I can monitor my driving real-time and check the avg periodically. It works best for me this way!

    well today it told me i had 200.4mpg for about 4 hours on my way back home to cincinnati from nc

    well since I have a B6 there would be no point... I have tried to change it from my old A4 to my new one and it will be up for about a day and then reset itself sooo i gave up.

    yeah understandable... I have changed it numerous times but it goes back to the 96 setting after a day or so..
