    Boost Issue at 144,000 miles

When accelerating the car will sputter after trying to boost past 5psi. Had white smoke coming from exhaust for a few weeks before I ran into this issue. Is the turbo gone or is it another issue such as a bad N75 Valve?

il bet you it's your spark plugs being fouled. whenever smoke is coming out of your exhaust, something is in your cylinders that shouldn't be and it is burning off. when coolant/water (which usually causes white smoke in the exhaust) are burned off it can foul plugs after a while. try swapping your plugs before you do anything more expensive.

Thank you. White smoke could be the head gasket as well then.

does the white smoke happen on a cold start, or even if the car is warmed up

all cars have some white smoke on a cold start, nothing to worry about

the problem comes in if shes still smoking once its warmed up or on acceleration... theeeeen you have a bad head gasket

Yes its def the head gasket then. I don't think the spark plugs would cause me to not be able to boost past 5psi with the stuttering as well

the sputtering could be caused by bad or fouled plugs and the fact that the engine is sputtering could cause low boost.

Mine was sending out random smoke signals while at idle. My issue was a vacuum leak (or several leaks) that caused the engine to run rich and foul the plugs. If you haven't checked the head gasket, do so now. If that looks ok, then check for vacuum leaks (PCV, PRV, related hoses, etc.).

def headgasket. pulled and replaced plugs. cylinder one was white/cream colored. almost completely. switched coilpacks around. getting a cylinder#3 misfire P0303. when u try going past 9lbs of psi CEL starts flashing and car stutters. im hoping its just the coilpack
