What alignment settings to maximize tire life when dropped? (toe, caster, camber)

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Gentlemen,

I slammed my car two weeks ago and now that the springs have settled I am going to bring it up a little bit and get the alignment right. What settings should everything be at to maximize tire life and keep it as close to stock as possible?

    Thanks!

to keep the car as close to stock you want to use the stock settings. I do not know the specific measurements but the individual doing the alignment will. Your biggest problem will be front camber and that is not adjustable.

It depends on how much you "slammed" your car.

No, but I like to go in knowing as much a possible about the car so I can tell them exactly what needs to be done and I trust my fellow Audiziners more than a mechanic :)

Unfortunately on this car only the front toe is adjustable. Camber and caster cannot be adjusted with the factory suspension.
Because of this, keep the toe as close to 0 as possible to maintain maximum tire life.
If you need to adjust camber or caster, you need adjustable control arms, like our Stern arms.
