    ETKA question

For all you experts out there, how do you properly enter the VIN in ETKA? I know it goes in the 'FI search' box, but then a window pops up called 'Sales types' with a very large list containing every vehicle, including multiple 2.0T engines. I have no idea what to pick.

I'd like to make a DIY thread for ETKA once I get it all figured out.

How strange.Mine was fine until i just checked, and my etka 7 (update 805) is doing the same as yours.I guess one of the updates must have caused the problem.

No, VW stopped supporting ETKA 7, so no more VIN decodes. Pretty much only dealers can decode VINs with their 7.2 ETKA. There are some online services, but they charge $40 per month I think

I thought since I have it, I could check them as well. Is that not the case?

I can send it to you if you'd like.

7.2 bought from Ebay wont work either. Been there done that lol They simply download ETKA from torrents, burn DVDs and sell them.
