    I did mine with the same cloth. Be very very careful when you put the ashtray cover back on. The tabs break easily and its thicker / harder to snap into place with the cloth.

    i actually broke the tabs off it a while ago...a quarter fell where my lighter is and i couldnt close the ashtray...so i ripped the cover off by accident trying to slam it oh well...i was jus gonna glue the cover back into place...lol

    yea everyone likes the wood trim in mine cause its that darker red color but wait till they see the carbon fiber...i'm pretty sure their jaws are gonna drop....i havent searched on the site yet but does anyone kno if they tried clear coat it and what the outcome was?

    I saw some pictures on a different site and it looks incredible with clearcoat. It makes it look practically real! The way it reflects is awesome.

    gonna have to pick some of that stuff up and try it...i also got some basketball court polyurethane downstairs in the garage too that i'm gonna experiment with see what works best...if it doesnt turn out to the way i want it then i'll jus leave it....

    looks clean so far. is it hard to wrap the overlay's without any bubble or wrinkles?

    edit** my bad...i misread what u wrote but i never got a bubble or any wrinkles...i mean if u end up messing up on a piece u can litterally rip the material off and clean off the piece with windex and hot water....after u lay the fabric on top of the piece ur working on jus work the fabric from the inside out toward the edges....
