    Help, Maf problem again.

    Driving on the FDR, car loss all power and shut off. I unplug the Maf and car started again fine but no boost at all. Maf was replaced last week. A friend of mine said it could be the plug that goes into the maf not making that much contact. Well a least i didn't need a flat bed this time, what you guys suggest?

    If it runs fine off the MAF, check for intake leaks. Large intake leaks.

    Runs fine but theres no boost at all. Step on it and gauge goes to 0 psi like it hit a wall and nothing else.

    Sounds like an intake leak to me. It's in limp mode, so you won't see any boost, but it'll limp you home.

    Thanks, will look for codes tomorrow morning. Could the plug go bad also?

    Anything is possible, but I'd start with a visual of the hoses and a pressure test. Obviously you can check the MAF wiring as well, but I'd be looking for a large leak first. You could still have MAF codes with a large leak, so don't assume the MAF is the issue if that's the case.

    Maf is reading too low, pressure test is next.
