Anybody have it? Who sells it? Is there a way to turn our existing wood trim into aluminum like the A4 guys do:

maybe you could use some of that "metal tape" that you can buy at HD or similar stores? if its too shiny you could try and scotch-brite that. if it looks like ass i imagine you could peel it off easily.

I will buy a cheap ebay "dash" kit before I do the tape thing.

Brushed Aluminum trim looks really cheap and ugly.

To each their own. I would love to do a silver carbon fiber but just out of my budget at $700.

I've contemplated the aluminum trim but have thought against it, although it doesn't look too bad in that link B6JoeS4 posted. I'm most likely going with silver carbon fiber (maybe black), but not the real stuff. Here are some links I found a few weeks ago.

    Coarse brushed aluminum
Fine brushed aluminum (Doesn't look amazing, that's just what I found)
    3M silver carbon fiber

I ordered a pack of 7 carbon fiber samples provided by Metro Decals and 3M looked and felt the best to me out of all of them.

    Question TJ: Brushed/anodized exterior trim?

I'm fine with my wood interior trim, but I'd like to lose the chrome on the exterior in favor of a brushed or anodized look. Has anyone done this? Is it possible to modify the stock trim this way? My understanding is that most pieces are plastic with a thin chrome plating, which worries me.

Well since you don't live in a snowy area, I think you can make any vinyl work. Maybe the link that I posted? I haven't wrapped my trim so not positive it would work.
