Painting Stock B7 A4 Sport Rims?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Hey my brother just painted his winter rims (Huffs) with engine enamel paint and said that he heard this paint can withstand wear, salt, snow, etc very well. I was just wondering if any one has tried this before. I wanted to buy a few cans of the black paint and try sanding, and wetsanding my rims and painting them. If any one has pics of stock sport rims painted black, whether powder coated or whatever, Id like to see. Thanks and Ill let you know if I try it.

yep. google how to do it. research. and do it. if you mess up just pick up another set of wheels and suck it up. if you dont feel comfortable with that then pick up a cheap wheel from a junk yard. practice on that.

So should I use lacquer or engine enamel paint? Which do you think will look better and last longer?
